NURSE PRACTITIONER, HEMATOLOGY (FT; 5 Days/wk) - Temple Faculty Practice


Temple hematologists treat anemias, bleeding disorders, thromboembolic (clotting) disorders and hematological malignancies (blood and bone marrow cancers). We work closely with the Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center, which conducts frontline research on blood clots and bleeding disorders. Our physicians - some of whom are considered experts in their field - participate in clinical research at the Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center. This research helps the team develop a deeper understanding of bleeding and clotting disorders and paves the way for new therapies to help patients with these disorders. We've combined some of the Philadelphia area's top hematologists, the latest treatments and cutting-edge clinical trials to provide comprehensive hematologic care. Our state-of-the-art facilities make getting the advanced care you need and want easier and more convenient, with the complete range of cardiologic services available at each location. Specialty programs for conditions such as anemia, bleeding disorders, leukopenia, sickle cell disease, Hodgkins & non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, & chronic leukemia bring together the specialists and care you need in one place. Our hematologists are dedicated to improving lives, one patient at a time. That means hematologic physicians work together and are focused on providing compassionate, individualized care based on your needs. Our Hematology team extends past Temple University Hospital to also cover the Fox Chase Cancer Center @ Temple University Hospital/Northeastern Campus, Fox Chase Buckingham, & Fox Chase East Norriton. Education Bachelors Degree : in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required) Masters Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required) Experience 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred) 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred) 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (Preferred) Experience in an EPIC environment (Preferred) License/Certifications CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required) RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred) BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) _ '275189
