Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Cath Lab Department at our Baptist Medical Center South campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity working a shift working from Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Weekday nights and weekend call! Up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus, if hired! As an Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab your responsibilities will include: * Coordinating with physician's office , other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy and other areas of hospital * Assist with cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures. * Will be responsible for moderate sedation. * Cath Lab RN's may assist with TEEs, and cardioversions. * Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services * Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care * Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case This Cath Lab RN will be located at Baptist South, located in Jacksonville, FL. Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Days Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * 2 years Critical Care Experience Licenses and Certifications * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required * Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred * Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview Opened in 2005 in southern Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center South has doubled in size.
