Medical-Surgical Nurse Educator

POSITION SUMMARY The Medical-Surgical Nurse Educator supports the Quadruple Aim goals of UNC Health Southeastern by working collaboratively with staff on the bed tower units and Resource Pool. #The Medical-Surgical Educator identifies educational needs, plans and implements programs using a variety of teaching/learning strategies. These educational offerings range from patient population-specific curricula to one-to-one teaching sessions with individual nursing staff members. In all endeavors, the educator promotes evidence-based practice by serving as a change-agent, teacher, mentor, and coach.
