Job Posting Summary * Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available* Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Intracoastal West in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity. This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Intracoastal West. This office has 3 providers. The office is located near Beach Blvd. The experienced candidate will be responsible for back office tasks, such as rooming patients and the assisting a new provider to the office. Some experience is preferred. Experience with vaccines and injections strongly preferred. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for: * Provides nursing assistance to physician * Obtains vital signs * Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit * Maintains medical documentation * Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician * Processes prescription requests and referrals This Medical Assistant position will be located at Primary Care Intracoastal West.
