Broward Health North Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 0.900000 Summary: Provides care and coordinates the delivery of oncology treatments, often in intensive care conditions, to assigned patients in a medical oncology facility. Supervises and provides nursing care to cancer patients. Monitors patient's condition, develops care plans, and symptom management protocols, and administers medication. Education: * Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years. Experience: * Two years' experience required. May need to complete appropriate specialty training for the area. Credentials: * Registered Nurse * BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross * Oncology Nurse Certification * Oncology Chemo/Bio Certification Hire-On/Retention Bonus of $20,000.00 (2 years' experience required) * Employee Referral Bonus of $3,000.00*The referee's name must be listed on the application under referral source in order to be eligible for any FT or PT positions.
