ADMISSIONS NURSE - Nights

Full Time HOSPITAL-CORE BLDG-01267 5300 KidsPeace Drive Nursing Evening/Nights with weekends/OT as needed The Hospital Admission Nurse works collaboratively with all other clinical and non-clinical staff to provide nursing overview and assessment during all stages of the admissions process and serves as a liaison between Hospital Nursing and Admissions. The Hospital Admissions Nurse performs triage, precertifications for direct admissions, nursing admissions assessments and general nursing support to the admissions office. The Hospital Admissions Nurse also provides nursing support and milieu management on hospital modules which may include providing nurse coverage on a module on an as needed basis. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed practical Nurse required. Valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certifications required. Good computer and technology skills required. SCM certification, observer status required. SCM Level 1 or 2, strongly preferred. CPR/First Aid certification required. Valid driver's license required. Strong communication, organizational and prioritization skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Bilingual skills preferred.
