Quality Management Specialist - Adult Cardiac Registries Apply your nursing or physician assistant expertise to another vital role in patient care. As a QM Specialist you will act as the clinical case abstractor/reviewer and data registry coordinator for the following registries: ACC National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) - CathPCI and Chest Pain/MI Registries, New York State Department of Health PCIRS Registry and AHA Get With The Guidelines- CAD Registry. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in these registries, with expert skills in data abstraction, and knowledge of the outcomes. In addition, they should enjoy data analysis and presentation and will actively participate in department and hospital committees, patient care evaluation, performance and quality improvement, risk management and educational programs. You'll work closely with Cath Lab leadership, Cardiology, Quality and Nursing leadership across our hospital, publishing and presenting data that impacts quality of care for patients from across the world. Preferred Criteria * PA, RN or NP candidates are strongly preferred * Cardiac Registry experience * Cath lab experience * CPHQ Certification a plus Required Criteria * 2-4 years of relevant experience * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Basic computer skills- Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Ability to review and interpret clinical cases for timeliness, efficacy, appropriateness, and efficiency of care * Knowledge of basic concepts of the structure and processes for maintaining a performance improvement and patient safety program * Understanding of basic principles of scientific data collection and analysis * Ability to travel to corporate office and hospital site as required #LI-JR1 #LI-Hybrid Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
