Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC)

Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Unit Coordinator, Registered Nurse for our 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit. This is a Full Time position with Night Shift hours and great benefits! Position is located in Suffolk, VA Job Requirements: * Bachelors Degree Required * Masters Degree Preferred * Active RN License * Requires 18 months experience in Nursing We provide care for higher acuity patients in the following areas: Neuro, Cardiac, Respiratory, Renal and Surgical (to name a few). Typical patients on Stepdown include: * Respiratory Failure (such as in Congestive Heart Failure, COVID, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). These patients may include those on BIPAP's and chronic trached ventilator patients. * Stroke and seizure patients. * Chest Pain, MI (heart attack), Congestive Heart Failure * Renal Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients * Post op surgical patients (ostomy's, extensive wounds such are decubs, VAT's, ortho also) VIDEO: Get to know Obici Hospital Stepdown Unit!
