City/State Norfolk, VA Overview Work Shift Third (Nights) (United States of America) Sentara Heart Hospital located on the Campus of Sentara Norfolk General in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse Traveler for the Advanced Heart Failure Unit! Traveler rate pays up to $75/hr and Potential $5000 Sign on Bonus. Eligible for $5000 Sign on Bonus living more than 50 miles from the facility working. Shift: Full time Temp 14 week contract, Night Shift Must be skilled with titrating drips and experience related to Hemodynamics. Department Overview: * 24 bed unit that provides high acuity cardiac care to patients with severe heart failure, pre/post heart transplant, and pulmonary hypertension. * Work with high tech equipment such as mechanical circulatory support including ventricular assist devices (LVAD) and telemetry monitors. * Environment relies on 24 hours consistent communication and intricate interdisciplinary teamwork skills. * Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
