Overview Since the doors opened more than 59 years ago, UF Health Leesburg Hospital has continued to build upon its reputation as a leading medical center and the most comprehensive provider of health care services in the region. The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida. The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation - its highest and best level of accreditation. The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more. There are three Cath labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. AN RN who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset will truly value their professional experience they will acquire while working, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. This is a close-knit Cardiodiagnostics team where collaboration andteamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices. The Director is a servant-leader with 31 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. Under the direction of the unit director, the RN is responsible for the care and safety of the patient. This position will work varied days throughout the week, some weekends 7am-3pm. 40 hours per week. This is a Full Time position, eligible for a sign-on bonus. Qualifications Education: - Diploma/Associates Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Florida Registered Nurse License - BLS - ACLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
