Title: Registered Nurse (Part-Time) State Role Title: Admin and Office Spec III Hiring Range: Based on qualifications & experience Pay Band: UG Agency: Virginia Military Institute Location: Virginia Military Institute Agency Website: www.vmi.edu Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Virginia Military Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse on an as needed basis. Job Duties: * Provides nursing services for 1,700 students. * conducts initial patient assessments, monitors changes in condition, administers medications & provides treatments. * Hours are variable including day, evening and night shifts during the academic year. Minimum Qualifications * Some weekend coverage is required. * One shift per month is required. * Requires graduation from accredited school of nursing. * Virginia license/eligibility and CPR certified.
