Location of Workplace Main UNCW Campus Brief Summary of Work for this Position The Registered Nurse functions as member of a clinical team in the provision of health care in a fast- paced college health center. Responsibilities include: obtaining pertinent medical information during check-in; educating patients; providing care and treatment to patients consistent with nursing practice and theory; and administering vaccinations and performing basic laboratory tests. Must demonstrate the ability to accurately assess a patient's medical problem. May assume a lead role in the clinic whenever necessary.
