Job Skills/Licenses Special Knowledge/Skills: Responsible for knowing and conforming to all standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Texas Nursing Practice Act Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects Ability to implement policies and procedures Knowledge of basic first aid Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: Two years nursing experience, preferably in acute pediatric/adolescent care or school nursing. Conditions of Employment * Can you, after employment, submit verification of your legal right to work in the United States? * The district is authorized by the Texas Education Code to obtain fingerprint criminal history record information on applicants the district intends to employ. As an applicant you will be responsible for the $52.00 fingerprinting fee. Please note if you have already submitted your fingerprints for educational purposes and can be found in the TEA/DPS Database, Wylie ISD will subscribe to your fingerprint results in order to determine your employment status.
