Position Overview: DaVita is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute (Hospital) Dialysis team in the Athens, TX area. As an Acute Dialysis RN, you will play a vital role in delivering life-saving care to patients within a hospital setting. Whether you have experience in dialysis or are new to the specialty, we offer comprehensive training to support your success. Key Responsibilities: * Provide specialized nephrology care in hospital settings, including ICU, CCU, ED, and Med-Surg units. * Oversee and manage patient care, collaborating with a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians. * Deliver dialysis treatments, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis. * Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure proper setup and operation of dialysis machines. * Work in a dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to patient needs and changing schedules. * Participate in on-call rotations as required by the hospital system. Qualifications: * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. * Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) is preferred. * Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med-Surg settings is a plus but not required. * Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Must pass a pre-employment color blindness test (accommodations may be provided).
