Job Posting Summary Baptist Hospital is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to support our Pediatric POPS (phase II of recovery) at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville Florida. This is a full-time four 9 hour shifts 8:00am-5:30pm opportunity. This position requires about 4-5 call shifts a month. As a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Pre-Op Anesthesia Care Unit, you will: * Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement * Organize and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel * Coordinate of care provided by ancillary services. * Include patients families in developing an individualized plan of care. * Educate of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care. * Responsibilities include: Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case. * This position requires call.
