Radiologic Technologist - Temporary Evening Shift (RSWH)

Job Description Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program (required) * ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required) * Previous experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred). We will accept newly registered graduates. * BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required). Must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period. About the Job: * Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols * Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department * Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes * Prepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs * Operates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort * Follows relevant safety and sanitation guidelines * Documents patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures * Demonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability. * May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations.
