Description

Home Health Clinical Supervisor | RN

We are seeking a naturally outgoing, people-oriented Home Health Clinical Supervisor based out of our Woodinville office. This position is a balance of attentiveness to people as well as to the details related to nursing practice standards, policies, and documentation. Our Home Health Clinical Supervisor is a person who is social-focused and values building positive and collaborative relationships, not only with their nurses and peers but also with the families we work with. That means the perfect candidate has strong empathetic skills but is also able to start conversations as a key leader in our organization. Since 1989, Alliance Nursing has been a Washington-based, mission-driven company of RNs and LPNs who work with families that need 24-hour in-home nursing care. Alliance Nursing works exclusively with clients who are medically fragile and qualify for "Private Duty Nursing." Some have insurance to cover these expenses while many receive Medicaid through the State. And while we might be a small company compared to other agencies, we have a big heart. Our home health nurses range from retired nurses, parents who took time off to raise a family and want to return to work, nurses looking for extra income, as well as new nurses looking for a unique work experience that will help develop their skills. As the Clinical Supervisor, you will also play an important role in upholding one of our major pillars as a company and that is our commitment to training and mentoring. In fact, with our years of experience, we have become a valued resource for our clients, their families, and our community, as advocates and specialists in medically intensive home health care. We value collaboration, excellence, and well-being. We care for each other, as we care for our patients. Some of the key job functions include: * Supervise all the home healthcare field staff (RNs and LPNs) * Perform supervisory visits with the families/clients they are assigned. * Open and discharge home healthcare cases * Update all comprehensive nursing paperwork. Other Qualifications: * Experience and knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and accreditation standards * Experience in writing and implementing policies ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. * Proficient in Office 365. * Able to communicate effectively verbally, in reading, and in writing in a way that is understood by others who communicate in the English language. Experience Required: * Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience, including at least one (1) year of Ventilator and Tracheostomy experience * Minimum one (1) year pediatric experience * Minimum one (1) supervisor or applicable experience Education/Licensure/Certification Required: Registered Nurse, Current Washington State Registered Nursing license Alliance Nursing is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, genetics/genetic markers, military or veteran status, and/or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Alliance Nursing provides critical nursing services called private duty nursing to infants, children and adults with complex medical and developmental conditions who may require mechanical ventilation to breathe, tracheostomy care, and nursing interventions. Nurses will be clinically competent while delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Nurses will effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing.
