Responsibilities The Supervisor RN coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of the Nursing Department. As a Supervisor RN, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Supervisor RN is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the hospital. Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes. Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving services within the nursing department. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan. Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental perspective. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment. Decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or patients. Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on assigned shift while coordinating with the Mgr Nursing and/or Dir Nursing. Coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Develops plans to meet short-term objectives. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Licensure in the State Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course. CNOR preferred. Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred. 5+ years of relevant experience including 1-2 years as a supervisor. USD $80,000.00/Yr. USD $110,000.00/Yr. Current Licensure in the State Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course. CNOR preferred.
