Sterile Processing Supervisor - Central Sterile Processing - Days

$8,500 Sign On Bonus for offers accepted by December 31, 2024. Terms and Conditions apply The Sterile Proc Tech job performs a variety of indirect patient care activities. This includes decontamination of surgical instruments and sterilization of instruments, supplies and equipment. Ensures all necessary instruments and supplies are prepared and ready for assembly on case carts. This position observes strict patient confidentiality following all HIPAA rules and regulations. This position maintains a clean and safe environment. This position also learns, performs and completes assignments/responsibilities assigned during the transitional duty period. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Certification as a Registered Central Sterilization Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Surgical Tech certification (CST or TS-C or CORST) Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current CRCST, CSPDT, CST, TS-C or CORST Certification Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years sterile processing experience Previous experience with a personal computer Experience PREFERRED One (1) year of previous supervisory, management or leadership experience Previous work experience in an academic medical center environment Education/training REQUIRED: High school Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or closely related field Completion of the International Association of Healthcare Central Services Material Management (IAHCSMM) curriculum Shift is Mon - Fri, Evenings, 2pm to 10:30pm Workday Evening (United States of America) EEO Employer/Disabled/Protected Veteran/41 CFR 60-1.4.
