Job Description The Perioperative Nursing Program is a 4-month course incorporating didactic content, supervised clinical experiences, and preceptorship. The didactic portion is a combination of on-line learning and classroom/lab setting for hands on skills. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to competently circulate most surgical procedures independently. If you are assigned to a specialty service, like cardiothoracic, you may have an extended orientation period. You will be given exams periodically throughout the orientation period to test your knowledge. Requirements: * FL RN license * Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred * BLS and ACLS certifications * Minimum 1 year nursing experience
