Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Full Time - 4 Days per week - 7am - 5:30p with Call Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification thru American Heart Association required. Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Experience: Experience preferred. Registered nurse specialized in the monitoring of cardiac patients in the Cath lab/EP Lab setting. Administers and recovers patients after receiving conscious sedation, ensuring concise accurate documentation. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. Operates within the department as prescribed by professional standards. Assists in the organization and implementation of the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published and regulatory standards. Works under the supervision of the RN Team Lead. BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS thru American Heart Association required. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Minimum of one-year clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures, ICU, ER or other Cardiology specialty area. Call in the Cath Lab is after hours 5p-7A and on weekends 24hrs.
