Charge Nurse (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift) Columbus, Ga)
West Central Georgia Regional Hospital - Columbus, Ga. is seeking qualified applicants for RN Charge Nurse. Shift: 3rd (11:00pm - 7:30am) Expected role and responsibilities * Collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide the most comprehensive care possible to our patients * Responsible for the activities within your assigned unit for the duration of the shift * Ensuring staff adheres to workplace protocols and procedures * Supervise nursing personnel, including training and disciplining * Act as a liaison between nurse and doctors * Maintain accurate, detailed reports and client records * Overseeing the smooth transition from one shift to another * Strong organizational and problem - solving skills are integral to this position Psychiatric Nurse Requirements and Qualifications * Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing * Master's degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatry or mental health strongly preferred * Georgia State RN license OR Compact RN license * Basic Life Support certification * Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is preferred A minimal of 2 years clinical experience is required for an RN to become a Charge Nurse We reserve the right to remove postings at any time.
