Registered Nurse (RN) - ER Mid Shift

Job Description Sign On Bonus for Full Time Registered Nurse Candidates Shift: 11:00am - 11:00pm As a Registered Nurse at North Okaloosa Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: * Current/Active RN license * Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred * BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications through ARC or AHA * Six (6) months nursing experience and/or two (2) years of other Emergency Department experience About the Job: * Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care * Assists physicians during examinations and procedures * Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse * Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills 21 * Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals With the help of more than 600 employees, 150 credentialed physicians, and more than $12 million of recent capital upgrades and renovations, North Okaloosa Medical Center is a caring place where clinical expertise and advanced technology blend seamlessly with sincerity and compassion.
