Emergency Center Nurse Educator

Immediate opening for an experienced emergency nurse educator who is passionate about education to help elevate our emergency center team. Great opportunity to utilize our innovative 22,000 Sqf. simulation center and positively impact the care our patients receive! Responsibilities include providing department competencies and updates, new employee department orientation, and ensuring EC staff are compliant with all educational requirements. Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or anticipated graduation from a BSN program within 6 months. Must be documented in writing from the school. If BSN is not achieved within 6 months, employee will be demoted from the position. (Required) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * 2 - 3 years clinical practice as a registered nurse (Required) * Previous experience in educating, training or precepting nurses CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES * Required Certifications/Licensures: Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license * Preferred Certifications/Licensures: (CEN) - certified emergency nurse
