We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location. The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will have experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams. Must exemplify our organization's values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. The RN has technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. The RN is expected to work in a primary nursing area for the center. The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations. He/she is also responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment. This position is 40 hours per week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory OR experience required. PACU experience is preferred. Education/Experience: * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University. * Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse. * At least two years' experience in either perianesthesia (Preop/PACU) or perioperative (OR) nursing, preferred * BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
