Night Hospitalist- Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Description UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Day Shift Hospitalist APP at our UNC Health Blue Ridge Main Hospital in Morganton, NC. HIGHLIGHTS * Medical Practice within a rural community. * Access to a broad scope of specialist within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network * A well respected organization in the community and across the state * On Average 15 Shifts a month QUALIFICATIONS Education Requirements: * Completion of an accredited graduate -level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program. * Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. * Board certification if required by the Department Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: * 2+ years of inpatient experience * Feel comfortable with admits * Demonstrates clinical competency * Preventive Care * Management of Acute and Chronic health issues * Strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Demonstrates written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. * Effective interaction and care of patients * Documentation of medical records for accurate billing Compensation: * Competitive Salary plus incentives * Health insurance and Retirement Plans * Paid time off * Moving expense/ Stipend * CME Reimbursement If you have questions about this opportunity or others please reach out to Chloe' Pilgrim, Provider Recruiter [email protected]
