Additional requirements include: * ADN required, BSN preferred * BLS and ACLS required * Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients. * Minimum one year supervisory experience preferred. Department/Unit Summary A new opportunity is available for our growing Behavioral Heath unit as an RN Manager. Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health and performs the following essential functions: * Defines the mission for the department and shares the corporate vision with assigned staff. * Directs operations and administration of the department under the general guidance of their Administrative Representative. * Develops and directs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
