Martin North Hospital's Emergency Department has multi-disciplinary care teams, and the leading-edge technology needed to diagnose and treat patients effectively, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Department is a great place for caregivers who want to work with diverse populations of patients and develop a wide skillset treating a variety of medical problems. This department is team-oriented and committed to supporting you as you discover, learn, and grow. The opportunities here are endless with a shared governance model, certifications and leadership growth into Charge Nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager roles. The hours of this full-time position is 7PM-7AM. Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include: * Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred. * Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). * Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire. * AHA PALS must be obtained during orientation if not prior to hire. * Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
