Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital's Gynecology & Women's Health is nationally recognized and provides comprehensive gynecologic care. From common to complex gynecologic conditions, the department offers evidence-based care to its patients. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am - 5:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Provide professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting. * Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients. * Coordinate and resolve daily operations issues. * Perform the duties of an RN ambulatory. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives. * Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers. * Assist in preparing department specific education for patients and caregivers. * Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). * Two years of recent experience as an RN. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: * Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). * Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience.
