We are currently recruiting for Nurse Consultant Is to function as Nurse Educators on the Nursing Performance Unit (NPU) at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC.  The primary purpose of the Nurse Consultant I position is to improve and enhance the quality of patient care through consultation, teaching/instructing, role modeling and assisting in researching the standards, policies, procedures and initiatives of the Nursing Department. These positions possesses technical expertise in psychiatric/mental health nursing with the ability to advise and provide consultation within specialized nursing services (and nursing education). The Nurse Consultant spends majority of their work time performing independent functions as assigned by and under the general supervision of a Nurse Supervisor III.  These are full-time positions and eligible for the full state benefits package. The normal work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.  However, work flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.  This position is considered Mandatory during adverse weather conditions which will be discussed in detail during the interview process.  About Central Regional Hospital (CRH):  CRH is a State-of-the Art psychiatric hospital located in Butner, NC.
