The Operating Room is team-oriented and very collaborative, keeping quality and safety as our main goal. The Manager leads by example and coaches mentors, and elevates her team members. This Operating Room does ortho, general surgery, vascular, gyn, urology and plastic surgery, etc. Under the direction of the Director/Manager/ Charge Nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care. This position is for the Open Heart Team for CVOR cases and requires after-hours, on-call during the week and weekends for emergent CVOR cases. We are searching for candidates that have experience in a Hospital Main Operating Room experience. The hours are 06:45a to 3:15p. This is a full time position eligible for a sign on bonus Qualifications Education: - Associate's Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Registered Nurse License - BLS - ACLS - PALS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Med/Surg or critical care experience of 1 year preferred - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - CVOR highly preferred - OR Main highly preferred
