Job Description ECU Health About ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers. Position Summary Up to $30K Commitment Incentive Under the Clinical Supervision of the Director of Patient Care Services and the overall supervision of the Vice President for Patient Care Services, the Nursing Supervisor provides safe, expedient, cost-effective delegation of hospital staff. As a member of a team of health care professionals, the Nursing Supervisor assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care and assignments for admissions, transfer, and deaths in collaboration with the physicians and other disciplinary team members which is age-appropriate for patients in his/her assigned unit or clinical settings. The Nursing Supervisor behaves in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all health care professionals. Nursing Supervisors are involved in clinical decision-making and evaluation of treatment efficacy. Nursing Supervisors are required to document in the electronic medical record factual, accurate, complete and timely legal information. Minimum Requirements Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Associate Degree- or higher. Other Information This is a full-time position 36 hours per week, 7pm-7am with rotating weekends Benefits and bonus available.
