FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day, Schedule: Normal Business Hours Position Summary The Research Assistant I is an ideal opportunity supporting clinical research and health services research projects. Working in collaboration with the clinical research coordinator and study team, this position will aid with data, coordination and protocol. Responsibilities * You will distribute, collect and document essential data and aid in the compilation and verification of research data, samples, and/or specimens * You will coordinate and complete protocol related activities and research visits needed to complete research projects * You will aid in the identification and screening of patients * You will partner across internal and external groups applying leadership, good judgement and effective communication skills Requirements * High school graduation or equivalent required * Valid health care provider CPR certification * Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy (must obtain within the first 90 days of employment) * Medical Assistant - Registered (must obtain within the first 90 days of employment) * Minimum one (1) year related or volunteer experience in healthcare or research (bench research, clinical research or health services research) setting required * Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.47 - $29.45 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
