RN - OPD Injection Clinic

Job Type: Part Time Job Category: Nursing Department: Psychiatry Open Date: May 8, 2024 Close Date: August 31, 2024 Registered Nurse OPD Injection Clinic Part-Time / 20 Hours 10 am - 2 pm / Monday - Friday No weekends or holiday Description: * Administration of all intramuscular (IM) psychiatric injections, as directed by the prescriber. * Conduct individual health assessments upon admission to the clinic and evaluate the need for hospitalization or other emergency medical care as appropriate. Requirements: * Must have an active New York State Nursing license. * 2+ years of RN experience administering intramuscular medication. * Excellent communication skills. * Strong understanding of patient care unit operations. Preferred: * Experience with long-acting Psychotropic medication. We offer competitive compensation ($57.81 /hr. + experience, educational, and certification differential).
