City/State Williamsburg, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA. This is a full time, day shift position with a rotating schedule. This position requires on-call with a 30-minute response time. Sign On Bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates! Job Description: * The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. * The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. * The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Hours: * Monday - Friday between 7am-5:30pm. This position requires "on-call" with a 30-minute response time. Job Requirements: * Education: Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma required; BSN or MSN preferred * Licensure: RN licensure required. BLS within 90 days of hire. ACLS within 1 year. * Experience: Strongly prefer previous acute care (ICU, ED, etc) or cath lab experience. Prior experience circulating and monitoring invasive cardiac procedures, endovascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures is preferred.
