Job Title: Part-Time/Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)Location: Clarksville TN Job Type: Part-Time/Per Diem Department: Hospice Care Shift: Flexible Work Hours We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team on a part-time or per diem basis. As a hospice RN, you will provide specialized care and emotional support to patients and their families during the end-of-life journey. Your role is critical in ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients receiving Hospice care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking for flexible work hours and a meaningful role in healthcare. Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality, patient-centered hospice care in home or facility settings. * Assess patient conditions, manage symptoms, and administer medication as prescribed. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice care team, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains, to develop and implement individualized care plans. * Educate patients and families on the hospice process, symptom management, and caregiving techniques. * Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, ensuring timely adjustments to the care plan. * Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, maintaining an environment of compassion and trust. * Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory standards for hospice care. Qualifications: * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license * Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with hospice or palliative care experience preferred. * Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate bedside manner. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. * Must have reliable transportation for patient visits.
