Details * Department: Nursing Administration * Schedule: Full Time Days * Facility: Providence Village * Location: Waco, TX * Salary Midpoint: $81,328.00 per year Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population. * Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies. * Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. * Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials. * Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. * Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences Experience in senior care is strongly preferred.
