Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - ACT Team


Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - ACT Team - Full Time $2,000 sign on bonus! Join a supportive team who values professional growth and serving our clients out in the community! As our Psychiatric RN on our ACT multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric nursing assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians, providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist, and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff. There is very little office-based work in this role, so the perfect candidate will be comfortable performing traditional nursing duties (blood/lab draws, medication management/LAI application, psychoeducation) in the community (Wake & Durham counties) with their clients. We provide mileage reimbursement! Pay Starting pay range is $35+ per hour. + $2,000 sign on bonus! * bonus applies to external applicants only Schedule Flexible, 40 hours per week. Daily morning meetings at 830am - create your own schedule otherwise! Job Responsibilities of an ACT Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) * Provide case management for an assigned group of members including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Individual Treatment Team (ITT) * Develop, implement, evaluate and revise overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the member and ITT * Provide individual supportive therapy and symptom management * Ensure immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as members change * Educate and support member families and advocate for member rights and preferences * Participate in and conduct parts of the client-centered comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history (i.e. onset, cause and effect of illness, past treatment and responses and risk behaviors, mental status, and other Social Determinants of Health) Qualifications of an ACT Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Education and Experience * Associates degree in Nursing * 2-4 years of experience working with co-occurring and mental health population Certifications * RN - NC Board of Nursing About SouthLight Healthcare Tap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
