Title and starting pay rate of this position may vary based on years of experience Responsibilities: * Flex staffing standards to meet patient care needs, flow, acuity, procedures, and staff skills, ensuring effective operations in response to clinical demands. * Maintain accountability for daily practice operations, providing clinical support as needed while serving as a role model for patient and community care. * Align departmental goals with national professional standards and organizational objectives to enhance patient safety, quality, and satisfaction. * Foster a compassionate, patient-centered experience by cultivating healing relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. * Demonstrate strategic leadership through critical thinking, utilizing financial and quality data to inform departmental vision and operational plans. * Guide stakeholders through complex changes, employing interpersonal skills to gain acceptance and support during transitions, while facilitating staff development. * Ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement by collaborating with medical staff, analyzing satisfaction data, and implementing evidence-based practices. * Develop staff through innovative education programs, effective communication, and a culture of open dialogue, promoting professional growth and a healthy work environment. Qualifications: * The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below. * They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients' requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures. Required: * Minimum 5 years Nursing Experience * BSN or Bachelors in related health care field Preferred: * Progressive leadership experience with relevant clinical experience * MSN or Masters in a health care field Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located.CPR Certification CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire * Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) * Registered Nurse (RN) * Act 34 * Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
