Position & Department Overview * Full Time, 40 hours per week * Day Shift * 37 bed unit to include a dedicated 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite located within the department. * More than 53K visits per year (approximately 150 patients/day) About this role * In this role you will serve as an expert clinician and as a clinical resource to staff. * You will be the recognized mentor, working to develop staff from beginner to expert status. * You will critically analyze care delivered against evidence-based practice standards and seek ways to improve outcomes. * You will be accountable for defined aspects of staff development, continuing education and professional development of nursing staff. * You will lead, facilitate, and/or participate in interprofessional quality initiatives, implementing evidence-based nursing practices, shared decision making, and other educational plans and activities. Minimum Requirements * Education: RN Master's Level Degree in Nursing or another applicable field * Nursing Experience: Two (3) years * Must be certified at time of hire in specialty area of department assigned (CEN) or have CNL or NPD Specialist certification.
