Stillwater Medical is looking for an RN Manager to lead our Resource Team. The Resource Team (Hospital Float Pool) assists our inpatient units by providing nursing team members to meet unit staffing needs. Our House Supervisors, Transfer Coordinators, Staffing Specialist, and Vascular Access Team are also led by this position. The RN Manager has the opportunity to work with this talented group of nurses and nurse assistants, as they deliver care in a variety of locations and a variety of ways. Leading this team requires a different set of skills than managing a unit where all the team members work and interact in the same physical area. JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Manager: Nursing Resources is responsible for the operational management of his/her designated units, currently Nursing Admin/Nursing Resources, Nursing Supervisors, Transfer Coordinators and Vascular Access Team, Staffing Support Specialist, RN-Resource Float, CNA/NA-Resource Float, & Patient Sitters. Implicit in this statement is indicated responsibility for the supervision, direction, and support of the employees of that department. Demonstrates Leadership ability and serves as a role model for clinical and professional practice. QUALIFICATIONS: * Satisfactory work experience demonstrating nursing knowledge and skills, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility. * Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma. * Minimum of two years' experience in an acute care setting as a staff nurse with, preferably, at least one year in a specialty unit (ER/ICU/L&D). * One year of management experience preferred. * Bachelor's Degree required. * Credentials from ANA or professional specialty organization preferred. * Current BLS card or completion within 30 days of employment. * Current ACLS certification or completion within 1 year of employment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations. * Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. * Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone. * Able to hear, see, and read to accurately assess, monitor, and administered care. * Able to frequently life at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Average Oklahoma Staff Position Pay

$28.69/hour
