Our Expert Care. The Job You Wanted Is Here! AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN-Admissions. This position is Full-time: Monday - Friday and (1) weekend per month: 1:30pm - 10:30pm supporting our Greensboro and Burlington service areas. Job Summary: These functions/duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following: explains hospice services to patients and families and assist with the signing of consent documents. Coordinate, collaborate and develop plan of care with patient, significant others, and members of the interdisciplinary team to focus and assure patient centered outcomes. Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, teaches, delegates, supervises, and coordinates the care of adult and geriatric patients; (initial assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and teaching) which provides care and support to terminally ill patients and their families; and perform other nursing duties as requested. The Admissions RN will bring experience and passion in working in an environment that values dignity, respect and inclusion of all team members, patients, and caregivers. Education and Experience: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON. * One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting. * Bachelor's degree in nursing a plus. * Two years of experience a plus. Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
