Our new feature uses Vivian’s latest AI model to handpick jobs and deliver them straight to your mobile app. Matches are based on your unique profile, preferences and recent searches, and are refreshed every day. Applying is as simple as a tap.
More Accurate and Transparent Job Listings
First, we gave you pay transparency; now, we’re bringing you job transparency! Because your decision to apply—or not apply—is only as good as the information you have access to.
Compare offers. Our new enhanced listings provide the facility name and verify the job is open, so you don’t waste time applying to closed positions. They also show you more accurate job details, comprehensive requirements and useful insights, and let you compare pay for the same role across agencies—all of which make it easier to find the best offer for you.
Apply to similar jobs. Use your initial application to apply for similar jobs effortlessly! Coming soon: Our redesigned experience will put the job you’ve just applied to side by side with similar roles for easy comparison. Applying is clear and straightforward, eliminating the risk of an unintended application.
A Faster Way to Get Submitted
Vivian’s updated reusable profile helps move you to the front of the line. The latest version collects all the information recruiters need to submit you straight away, including Vivian-verified reference checks, which are good for one year. Complete your reusable profile once—it will be sent to recruiters in full every time you submit an application!
Tackling Spam
We’ve heard you loud and clear: More relevant jobs and less unnecessary messages!
Job proposals. With our overhauled experience, receive and review job opportunities sent by recruiters in one single place. Proposals are based on your profile, preferences and job search activity, ensuring greater relevance. Accepting or declining a proposal is simple and clear.
Less messages. For every proposal, the number of message notifications we send to you has been greatly reduced.

Hello- I am new to the nurse practitioner locum world. I am from Kansas and am struggling to find positions/jobs in states other than Kansas who have to wait for me to obtain their state license. Kansas is not a compact licensure state. Any suggestions?
Hello Susie and thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, only four states have enacted the APRN compact and it needs seven before it can be enacted. While Kansas isn’t one of the states that have joined the APRN compact, it’s part of the RN licensure compact, so you could apply for your RN license and take an RN job temporarily, keeping in mind that you can’t perform any NP duties as an RN even though you’re qualified to do them. This route is one that some NPs take. Alternatively, read our Nurse Practitioner Licensure by Endorsement: A State-by-State Guide post, which offers details on the NP licensure by endorsement rules in each state to see if there’s a nearby state where it’s quicker to get an NP license. Also, did you check to see if you could get a temporary NP license in Kansas? Its Board of Nursing may offer a temporary license for up to 180 days, allowing NPs to practice while completing the application process. Other nearby states also offer temporary licenses. I’m looking for a work from home position but can’t seem to find anything like that on your site. The only “virtual” position listed is in person at their location. Do you not have any of these positions or am I not filtering correctly?
Hello Stacey and thanks for reaching out! We have several positions under Virtual Care Nurse, but, yes, many of those tend to be on-site. We also have remote positions under Telehealth Specialist. Some of these roles are on-site and some aren’t, usually noted in the job descriptions. I’m looking for a quiet job, with little interaction. I work really well, solo. Any ideas?
Hello Rich and thanks for reaching out! It depends on your idea of working solo. If you want to work with patients 1:1 without working with other staff members, home health or telehealth might be an option. If you prefer less patient interaction, primarily work solo but share your findings with others, then maybe informatics or clinical research. You could also consider school nursing as there’d likely be less interaction with patients and other HCPs in this setting. It really depends on your overall career goals and ideal work environment, but there’s generally a job that works for every nurse.
