The COHN-S certification is designed for registered nurses specializing in the occupational health field. This certification demonstrates advanced knowledge in occupational health nursing, focusing on workplace health and safety, illness and injury prevention, and health promotion.

Experience in occupational health nursing, with 3,000 hours in the field in the past five years.

ABOHN will notify candidates of their pass/fail status by mail approximately 8-12 weeks after taking the exam. Score reports will not be given at the testing center.
