Eligibility and Certification Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a field related to assistive technology.
A minimum number of hours of direct experience providing assistive technology services, which typically includes assessment, recommendation, fitting, training, or support of assistive technology.
Adherence to RESNA’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Passing the ATP examination.
Cost: $500 exam fee plus $100 application fee (application fee is free for RESNA members).
