 Under the supervision of a radiologist, performs ultrasound examinations on patients, including procedures such as biopsies or aspirations.  Reports preliminary findings and diagnoses to the radiologist.  Takes anatomical images to demonstrate organs.  Under the direction of a registered radiologic technologist, assists with diagnostic radiographic procedures being performed. Assists in preparing the room for procedures and assists with transporting or escorting patients.

Administration of oxygen or positive airway pressure must be under the direct supervision of a registered polysomnographer. Other duties may include scoring, community education, marketing and inventory management.
