Bait and switch. No one has time for the run around. We all understand that these are jobs and require interviews. When we say we are interested in a job-we know that includes an interview and possibly not getting the job. Of course there are other applicants when the pay is good! There may be a better fit out there. This is all perfectly understandable. This does not mean briefly go over the job that interest was expressed in and then try and push another job onto a prospective applicant. Especially one that repeated they already looked up COL and preferred the pay from job A. Not interested in $800 a week pay reduction. When that was made clear I got the “we’ll just let you know if anything else opens-click,” hung up in my face. Waste of my time. I was honest and to the point about what I needed and what I was applying for. I do not appreciate the bait and switch. Ruins a whole company for me.
