Richmond VA Position: Histology Technologist in Richmond, VA
Schedule Full-time/Permanent • Nights (No Weekends)

MUST BE A CERTIFIED TECHNOLOGIST FOR THIS ROLE
4 Year/bachelor's degree in medical technology
More than one year of experience in Histology; 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume histology setting is required.

Shift: Mon-Fri 8-430pm.
 May be asked to arrive early or stay later usually no later than 5pm. Must have 1-2 years of experience with injections, phlebotomy and EKG. Epic EMR experience preferred. This is an Internal Medicine office adult medicine. We do all point of care in office testing, Injections, phlebotomy and EKG. EPIC EMR. Also having front office experience is a plus. We cross train to cover front staff.

8.	Maintain required records accurately, comprehensively and in a timely manner, including data entry into the Homeless Management Information System.
9.	Keeps required statistics and submits reports as requested.
10.	Cooperates with, participates in and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
11.	Provides liaison with family members, community agencies, advocacy persons/groups and hospitals when appropriate.
12.	To work in a collaborative and collegial manner with other staff both intra- and inter-agency in assisting both the program’s clients and the program to meet identified goals.
13.	Insures the confidentiality of all client and/or employee-related information.
14.	To maintain one’s own physical, mental and emotional well-being to maximize the healthy functioning of the program.
15.	Attend Monroe County Homeless Advisory Board Meetings and community meetings/ events. 
16.	Participate in the development and implementation of program fundraising events and activities.
17.	Participate in public speaking events to bring program awareness to the community. 
18.	Attend program fundraisers and community events.
19.	Represent RHD and the program out in the community with professional demeanor. 
20.	Maintain a valid PA Driver License and active car insurance.
21.	Report in writing any conflict of interest in working with clients of the Day Center that you may know personally
22.	Participate in weekly supervisions with Supervisor to discuss client concerns/needs.


Philadelphia PA •Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field.

•Two years' general work experience providing support to individuals in homeless services, behavioral health, Addiction Recovery required.
