They don't know and they don't care and my recruiter wrote up a contract that would have made me lose a whole year of stipend pay had I not looked over it and made him write it for the date I had previously told him. You can only stay at a facility one year. When your pay period starts to when they end better be less than 365 days of the IRS will take your stipends. Any good recruiter would know this and respect your requests. There is more but just do yourself a favor and find the best recruiting company and look at any facility and find the top pay and request they match it.
