Weekend: every other. 2 years of experience. 35 beds, oncology overflow, but no chemo, orthopedics, arm/hand surgery, hysterectomy, bariatric weight loss surgery, general med surge patients. Patient ratio: 4-5 patients to 1 nurse, 10-12 patients to 1 PCA. Top diagnosis/procedures: Ortho, oncology, pancreatitis, arm/hand infections, weight loss surgery, CKD, sickle cell. Common medications given: most medications are given on this unit, unless they are ICU specific, or more complicated cardiac medications

Job Summary:
This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provides radiation safety for operator and patient. Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•2 years of experience (will review travelers with 1.5yrs is strong Level I/large hospital experience)
•Large hospital/Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
•Graduate of an accredited radiography program
•OH State License required, pending license is accepted
•Registered with ARRT
•BLS
•Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon equipment
Specs:
Charcoal grey scrubs, EPIC EMR. GE CT equipment presently in use GE and Toshiba/Cannon.
Typical volume or census for dept. 270-290 scans per day.
